Position: Project Manager
Corporate Group: Project Management Office
Reports to: Manager, Project Management Office

Job Summary:

Responsible for:

  • Managing the overall budget of the project

  • Managing resources both internally and externally

  • Managing client relationships

  • Managing and resolving all project related issues

  • Preparing and communicating weekly status updates, both internally and externally

  • Managing the overall project plan

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Project Planning

  • Resource Planning

  • Cost Management

  • Reporting and Communication

  • Methodology

Skills and Experience:

The following skills or the equivalent in experience are required attributes for the successful candidate:

  • BSc in Computing Science or related discipline - (Minimum, second class lower 2:2)

  • Ideally PMP certified

The following mix of experience and skills would be an asset for the successful candidate:

  • At least 3 years experience in project managing large scale IT Implementation initiatives

  • Excellent written and oral skills

  • Strong team skills (ability to motivate and lead a team)

  • Ability to handle and resolve conflict

  • Ability to prioritise, plan and manage tasks
