Position: Infrastructure Solutions Manager
Corporate Group: Infrastructure Solutions Team
Reports to: Vice President, Services

Job Summary:

Responsible for:

• Managing the infrastructure based consultancy to the company’s client base. This includes accountability for managing a team of consultants and system engineers

This job requires travel throughout Trinidad on a regular basis and international travel depending on project commitments.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Manage Delivery Team activities

• Sales and Delivery Team support

• Guide creation of templates and provide input into process optimisation

• Perform Network Assessments

• Conduct performance reviews of all team members periodically

• Create individual development plans for each team member and track progress

• Create annual budget for department

• Track department financial performance

• Track employee billable/non-billable times

• Report on employee utilisation

Skills and Experience:

The following skills or the equivalent in experience are required attributes for the successful candidate:

• First Degree in Computer Science or Business/Management related program or five (5) years relevant experience

• At least three (3) years experience in a management position

• At least two (2) years experience in Infrastructure systems design and implementation

• Demonstrated level of competence in the use of a formal framework in the management and structuring of information systems operations and services

The following mix of experience and skills would be an asset for the successful candidate:

• MCSE Certification

• Certification in CA, Mcafee or CISCO

• Knowledge of or certification in ITIL

• Knowledge of or certification in CMMI

• Technology awareness

• Experience in dealing with external clients

• Ability to understand and apply process flows

• Proactive nature to improving operational efficiency
